Thru remote access, I saw my unit was down.It is 12 yrs old . The AC is in Florida and I am in CT for the summer
CA had a tech on site the afternoon I called . Not sure if he was sufficiently experienced as he chased down several different causes, concluding I needed a new control board. He installed a new board($1k) the next day but found that did not work, so he concluded it also needed a new thermostat (another $2k)
After speaking with the salesman / director , I then decided to get a new AC unit ($15k) and it would be installed today, but only after he assured me I would be able to have remote access and it could be set up upon installation
The installer Humberto Rivera was terrific and competed the installation by 2 pm , but unfortunately the office gave him the wrong contact # so I did not know he was done
I then called the office and they soon located Humberto
He walked me thru the process to set up the app for the remote access, but I could not connect
He then went back to my unit and sent me the QR code . But we learned that QR codes do not work thru a photo and I now believe it is technically impossible to set up remote access when the theirs on one WiFi network and I am on another
In any event, he assured me the unit was working
I give Humberto an A+ for his service and his efforts to ensure customer satisfaction
I would give the sales team a C- for not knowing of the remote access set up difficulties



Keith was very professional and explained everything he was going to do with my unit. He was very thorough. I would like him to come every time for our maintenance check up. Thanks so much!!
