5/2025 A quick update from today's routine maintenance visit: Austin is another great tech, he knows what he's doing and obviously cares about doing thorough maintenance. Also, Cindy, on the scheduling and dispatch line was also excellent, attentive and good natured.
We only leave reviews if we get exceptional service or terrible service: Conditioned Air has never disappointed, we continue to highly recommend them.
3/2025 update Yet another superior experience with a different Conditioned Air tech (and a plug for an expensive but SO worthwhile extended warranty). The compressor didn't just stop working but blew which resulted in damage to other parts of the AC. The tech, Emmanuel was here from 11:30 a.m. - 8:30 because the AC needed extra parts, hours of labor and replacement of most of the Freon, (spelling?) to get it to work again. As noted in previous reviews about other techs, he was very professional and experienced. We were sorry for him that so much was involved but he took it completely in stride with a great attitude.
This most recent experience, particularly in SW FL where the AC runs so much of the time, Conditioned Air remains a top notch sales and service company.
Lastly, the 10 extended warranty we bought with the AC meant that we didn't have to pay for parts or labor, we figure about $5000? maybe more, of savings.
The Conditioned Air technician, Peter R., who just left our house was fast, efficient, professional and very good natured. We were super pleased. (We offered to leave a review).
Over 5 years, we've only had good experiences with Conditioned Air for both routine maintenance and troubleshooting. Good people with expertise.
A 2nd review a month later: our AC stopped working, Michael came out and determined that the "air handler secondary blower" ($$$) was blown, shall we say. He, too, was very knowledgeable, efficient and a pleasure to work with. He took great care of us and got our AC unit fully repaired within a few days. (FYI: 90% of the time we don't buy extended warranties. When we bought the AC over 5 years ago, the Cond. Air salesman didn't pressure us to buy one but we know that SWFL means very high use of AC. So we decided to extend the warranty from 5 to 10 years AND we are so glad we did. NO cost for expensive part and no cost for labor, we definitely came out way ahead).
AS noted above, this is a very honest, straightforward company with unusually professional techs who are good people.
